Letter To Alumnae

Dear Sisters,

Throughout your life, you have made contributions that have brought great pride to Alpha Xi Delta. From wearing the symbols of our sisterhood in college to starting careers and families, it is our chapter’s belief that each and every one of you has realized your potential in life and are still going strong.  Nevertheless, we hope this letter finds you well. 

We, the Zeta Iota chapter at Lyon College, have also been working hard to accomplish the goals of our great fraternity and promote our core values of sisterhood, leadership, knowledge, and service. We have brought into our chapter fourteen beautiful new sisters last semester, have fundraised for Autism Speaks with events such as Blue Out during basketball season and the Walk Now event in Little Rock, and are concentrating on the goal of leaving our chapter even better than it was before. Without the guiding examples that you, our alumnae, have provided us, none of the accomplishments we have achieved thus far would have been possible.
In order to keep our chapter going strong, we ask you, our sisters, to look to your chapter of Alpha Xi Delta when you find you have the time throughout your busy lives. We ask you to continue to be a light in our lives; to show us the paths that you have walked and to share your wisdom. May our chapter continue to grow and strengthen for generations to come.
